Andrew Dubin
Founder & Principal Consultant
Cybersecurity Lead
Andrew founded Dubin Technology Solutions and leads its engineering and security work. He holds a B.S. in Cybersecurity from Purdue University and brings a security-first approach to every system the firm builds.
His experience spans technical leadership, systems administration, cloud infrastructure, and full-stack software engineering. Before Dubin Tech, he ran a custom computer-building business and launched several other ventures. Most recently, he co-founded a technology startup and served as its CTO and systems administrator, responsible for building and securing its infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and the broader Microsoft stack. At Dubin Tech, he designs and delivers complete production systems, including payment-enabled marketplaces, web and mobile applications, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, native Apple apps, and AI-powered tools. He works primarily in C#, .NET, React, Vue, and TypeScript across Azure, AWS, and Cloudflare, and provides managed IT services for client environments.
Andrew also leads the firm's security practice, which covers penetration testing, security audits, incident response, and digital forensics. His recent work includes a forensic investigation of a blockchain-hosted malware campaign that was referred to federal law enforcement, as well as the emergency containment of a production cloud platform holding user data.
Drawing on his own experience as a founder, Andrew serves as a fractional CTO for early-stage startups. He helps them shape product roadmaps, prepare for fundraising, and build the technical foundation and team they need to grow.
William (Bill) Dubin
Co-Founder & General Manager
Bill co-founded Dubin Technology Solutions and runs its operations and client delivery. He brings more than two decades of experience across software engineering, operations, and leadership, and a people-first management style built on clear communication and decisive problem-solving. He holds an M.S. in Software Engineering with distinction from DePaul University and a B.B.A. in Economics from Loyola University Chicago.
Bill started on mainframe systems at a global HR consulting firm, then developed in .NET, Java, and mainframe at a Fortune 100 insurer. At a global bank he was a Java developer and tech lead, owning the technical side of Visa and Mastercard compliance. He then built database and proprietary cellular systems at a national wireless carrier and worked as a Java developer at a national foodservice distributor. He returned to the insurer for nearly ten years as a tech lead and manager, then led customer and infrastructure operations at a technology startup before co-founding Dubin Tech.
His specialty is keeping production systems and the teams behind them running well: operations, incident and problem management, and translating complex technical issues for engineers, executives, and clients alike. At Dubin Tech, he keeps engagements organized, on schedule, and clearly communicated. Like Andrew, he has founded and co-founded several companies.
